The Cottonwood Scholastic Book Fair dates have been changed to April 4 – 8. There will be no Book Fair the week of March 1 – 4. Students will receive their brochures about the Book Fair the last week in March. The Book Fair will be in the gym lobby and family night will be posted. Happy Reading!
As you know, we received a Literacy Grant last year that made it possible for us to get lots of new books. Please remember that when you check out a book, there are other people that will also be reading the book after you finish. Take the best care of the book that you can and keep it put up from pets and little brothers and sisters that don’t know how to take care of it. We want to make our books last as long as possible. Books that are brought in damaged will have to be paid for so the book can be replaced.
Hopefully, the bad weather is behind us and we are in for some warmer sunny days! Mrs. Workman and I would like to encourage all of the Cottonwood students to read, read, read. If you read a good book while you were snowed in, blog us and tell us why you liked the book, so we can share it with other students. Only 3 months left of school!
The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Cottonwood School February 28, 2011 – March 4, 2011. The Book Fair will start at 9:00 a.m. and close at 3:00 p.m. Family night will be Thursday, March 3 and the book fair will stay open until 6:00 pm. that day.
